Workshop on “Statistical Models and Methods for Real-World Applications”

School of Mathematics and Statistics is hosting a one-day workshop titled “Statistical Models and Methods for Real-World Applications” taking place on 13 June 2025 at Technological University Dublin (Central Quad, Grangegorman campus).

This workshop brings together academic and industry experts from Ireland and abroad to discuss advances in statistical modelling and methodology. The focus is on techniques motivated by — and applied to — real-world challenges, with particular emphasis on biomedical and pharmaceutical research.

The event is particularly relevant to graduate students, early-career researchers, and academic staff, offering an excellent platform for learning, networking, and knowledge exchange.

Registration is required  by 8 June 2025 via [https://tinyurl.com/55etyzn8] or the QR code in the flyer, and includes a registration pack, refreshments, and a sit-down lunch.

See the flyer for the list of invited speakers. The full programme will be shared with registered participants in advance of the event.

The event is supported by the Irish Statistical Association (ISA). In the event of over-registration, priority will be given to ISA members.
